Nel Momento

Suzanne Reyneke is a Yoga Trauma Specialist. Her speciality is mental health and holistic wellbeing. She practises, studies and transmits the arts of movement and meditation with particular reference to the Yoga tradition of Sri Krishnamacharya, Somatic Mindfulness Meditation and the MBSR (Mindfulness based Stress Reduction) protocol by Jon Kabat-Zinn.

She loves to promote awareness, trust, self-education, vital energy and sensitivity towards oneself and others.

For many clients the  ‘tailor-made’ individual course best suits their needs. Often clients are referred by other health professionals such as medical doctors, psychologists, and nutritionists based on the specific needs and objectives of the client.

Clients of all ages are supported in creative paths aimed at balancing and integrating  well-being through the arts of listening, movement, meditation and somatic awareness practises.

The tools and language we use have a strong  experiential imprint. Through movement, breathwork and meditation awareness is activated to bring back bance and wellbeing to the body and the mind.

Suzanne organises Hatha, Yin and Vinyasa yoga group classes. She teaches creative workshops for clinicians who want to incorporate yoga into their practice. The short breath work courses for clients with special respiratory needs is another requested course. The practical introductory mindfulness group course is a firm favourite.  Yoga and Mindfulness STORIES for children and families is now in its 4th year!

She’s a certified Mindfulness Coach with a diploma in MBCT – Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy, MBSR – Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction for adults and MBSR K-12 for children and a Hatha / Vinyasa yoga teacher recognised by CONI.

She’s a certified Y12SR Leader, (yoga for recovery from various addictions or compulsions).
She is the author and developer of Yoga & Mindfulness Stories®, a dedicated program that brings mindfulness and yoga in combination, to children in schools and kindergartens.
